Approach
Most technology risk in a large or acquired estate is not inside any single platform — it lives in the gaps between them: the integration seams, the undocumented ownership, the assumptions no one wrote down. Stabilised a fragmented D2C architecture and established integration governance ahead of mission-critical global launches.
Brought in as interim technical leadership to audit, remediate, and stabilise a complex ecosystem of legacy CMS and SaaS platforms. Mapped data flows across the estate, resolved critical latency issues, and designed a unified target architecture. Defined cross-system integration patterns, contributed to enterprise data platform design, and established deployment governance and a bespoke SDLC methodology built to scale with the business.

Designed a sovereign AI capability and turned around engineering delivery across a compliance-driven estate.
Designed and executed an on-premise AI strategy — GPU clusters, vector databases, open-source LLMs — meeting strict ISO 27001 requirements without exposing data to public cloud. Delivered three production AI systems, including a Legal RAG platform that reduced document review time by 40% and an agentic support layer that reduced demand by 30%. Established an engineering maturity framework with quality gates, TDD governance, and structured delivery processes across offshore teams.
DevSecOps & platform reliability at scale

Built and scaled global DevSecOps capability for one of the world's highest-traffic broadcast platforms.
Led global engineering to establish the reliability and DevSecOps strategy for a platform delivering live sport at scale. Introduced DORA metrics, CI/CD automation, and a distributed Agile model to achieve 99.9% uptime at peak broadcast loads. Scaled engineering teams across multiple regions, reducing the hotfix rate by 50%, and aligned the technical roadmap directly to commercial outcomes including major subscription and broadcast partnership wins.
